Congratulations to John Burville and David Cordon who triumphed in the 2010 Open Pairs held over two sessions on 27th September and 1st October.
After a grueling 30-board opening session, the eventual winners held an 8.5 point lead over Elizabeth McKee and John Glynn and, following the 27-board final session, they had secured the overall victory by a narrow 5.5 matchpoints from John and Elizabeth with Phil Shadick and Steve Ball only one matchpoint further behind in third place.
A total of twenty pairs competed in the event and Jack Rhind directed.
