We are a members' club and the principal bridge club on our beautiful island. We run an open, stratified duplicate game on Monday afternoon, Wednesday morning, Thursday evening and Friday afternoon.
Birthday wishes and cake at the Wednesday morning game on 8th July to celebrate Pat Siddle's birthday.

The 2026 Men's Pairs Championship and Ladies Pairs Championship were held concurrently this year. 9 pairs competed for the Men's title and 10 for the Ladies.
Congratulations to Steve Cosham and Des Nash for taking the Men's title, with a comfortable lead over second placed David Cordon and John Rayner. There were four junior pairs taking part in this event, and a special mention is therefore accorded to Ross Cooper and Scott Gilbertson, who led the Junior field. In the Ladies Pairs, Elizabeth Mckee and Marge Way took the title with Betsy Baillie and Lisa Ferrari in second place.

Many congratulations to Margie Way and Tony Saunders, the winners of the Mixed Pairs Championship 2026 - showing that age is no bar to continued success at bridge, with a total of some 183 years between them! They were one place behind lunchtime leaders Molly Taussig and Steve Cosham, but in the afternoon session, on the very last board, they pulled ahead to win by just one matchpoint over Molly and Steve. In third place were Tracy and Des Nash, who repeated their success of 2025 winning the Intermediate title for the event. 10 pairs competed including three of our more junior pairs - well done all for taking part in an enjoyable event.
